Dear Mr. Luke,
It is so hard to believe that I have been your patient for over 10 years. I was in preschool the first time I came to see you and now I am a sophomore [in high school]. Thank you for being so patient and understanding with me. I have been looking forward to the time where my brace wearing days would come to an end, but I will miss coming to see you. It is so amazing to see the work you are doing to help people like me. I remember going to your Fredrick office when I was little and you had the best toy in your waiting room and I begged my parents to find it for months. I always enjoyed getting to help make my brace and something that meant a lot to me was when you made a brace for my doll when I was younger. Thank you for making this such a positive treatment experience. Scoliosis definitely is not the end of the world but wear a brace has brought its challenges over the years but it was always a priority of yours to put my comfort first. I really appreciate the work you have done for me over the years.

Luke,
It was nice to see you this week. It seems like yesterday that we were meeting you for the first time. Alexa was so little when she started this journey with you. I remember that you traced her on paper to get the measurements. It’s hard to believe more than ten years have passed.
I’ve attached the pictures of you and Alexa from this week, as well as a few others I found. If you’d like to include her in one of your social media posts, she’d be happy to participate.
You are a talented orthotist, and a kind and compassionate person. We are thankful Dr. Blakemore sent us your way. You’ve been a blessing to our family.
Stay healthy and safe!
